THIS IS THE FINAL SCENARIO
Search and Destroy*
This scenario pits two squads against each other.
Squad Alpha Objectives:
• Protect High Value Targets A and B
• Prevent the HVTs from being destroyed in the allotted amount of time
• Eliminate all enemies
Squad Bravo Objective:
• Plant the bomb and destroy either HVT A or B
• Defend the planted bomb
• Eliminate all enemies
Squad Bravo will have the briefcase bomb set in sight of them before match begins. They will need to pick it up once the match has started. Squad Alpha will have to move to their objectives to protect. Their objectives will not be in their line of sight.
Every player has 1 respawn coming out to 2 lives per player. The respawn point is their respective team’s headquarters. Each match will be 10 minutes long with overtime being no longer than 2 minutes. Overtime occurs when the bomb is planted in the last seconds of the game. Once the bomb is planted Alpha squad has 2 minutes to disarm the bomb. If the bomb is diffused before the 2 minutes are up then Alpha team wins the match and progresses in the tournament.
IMPORTANT: If Bravo team is eliminated when the bomb has been planted but Alpha team does not disarm the bomb, Alpha team loses and Bravo team progresses in the tournament.
If the bomb is not diffused in the 2 minutes and the HVT is destroyed then Bravo team wins and they progress in the tournament. If neither objective is destroyed in the 2 minutes, and Alpha squad has not been completely eliminated than they win the match and progress in the tournament. If all of Alpha squad is eliminated before the bomb is planted or when the bomb is planted then Bravo team wins (if the bomb has not been planted yet then Bravo team needs to plant the bomb as a technicality).
The tournament is single elimination with a 3rd and 4th place match.
It is a coin toss on which squad is Alpha and Bravo.
*This scenario is very similar to Search and Destroy in Call of Duty with the addition of a respawn.
